Merge PDF

Combine several PDFs into one, in the order you choose.

Combine several PDF files into one document, in the order you choose. Merge chapters of a report, a contract with its appendices, or a stack of scanned receipts into a single PDF that is easy to send, archive or print.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Drop two or more PDFs on the page, or choose them. You can add more files at any time.
  2. Drag the files (or use the arrows) to put them in the right order. The total page count is shown as you go.
  3. Select Merge PDFs and download the combined file.

Why no upload matters

Merging is often the last step before you send a complete set of documents: application forms, ID copies, payslips, signed contracts. All of it stays on your device here. The PDFs are read and joined in your browser and never uploaded.

Password-protected files can be included: you enter the password in the page, and it is only used on this device.

What works well

  • Any number of PDFs, from a single page to long documents, in one go.
  • Bookmarks (outlines) from each file are kept when possible, so you can still jump to each part.
  • An option to insert a blank page after any file with an odd number of pages, so each file starts on a new sheet when printed double-sided.
  • Pages are copied as they are, without re-compressing, so text stays sharp and searchable.

Limits

  • Files are added whole. To take only some pages from a file, use Split PDF or Delete & reorder pages first.
  • The merged PDF is not password protected, even if some of the originals were. Use Protect PDF if it needs a password.
  • Very large files need a lot of memory; on phones, merging dozens of big scans can be slow.

Frequently asked questions

How do I merge PDF files into one?

Drop the PDFs on this page, put them in order and select Merge PDFs. The combined file downloads as one PDF.

Is it safe to merge confidential PDFs here?

Yes. The files are merged in your browser on your device and are never uploaded to a server.

Is there a limit on the number of files?

There is no fixed limit and no watermark. The only practical limit is your device’s memory.

Will bookmarks be kept?

Yes, when possible. Bookmarks from each file are carried over into the merged PDF.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Yes, if you know the passwords. You are asked for each one when you add the file.

Can I reorder or delete pages after merging?

Yes. Open the merged file in Delete & reorder pages to move, rotate or remove individual pages.
